Hi y’all! Today I’m going to share with you my little tidbit on how to fold a hoodie. And this method will keep you from covering up the logo or picture on the front!
I recently looked on Pinterest for a better way to fold hoodies, because my husbands closet was becoming a small disaster. They were starting to spill off of the shelf!
He is a Vocational Agriculture teacher, so he has a hoodie or two for every team he coaches. As well as, a few of his favorite sports teams. A lot of his hoodies are the same color, so I needed a way to NOT cover the logo. That way he wouldn’t tear them apart while looking for the one he wanted.
This method is very simple and won’t make laundry folding day take any longer than normal! (Which is a plus and a MUST for us busy moms!)
How to fold a hoodie- without covering up the logo
Step 1:

First you will need to lay the hoodie with the front facing down. I find this step easier to do on the bed versus the dryer. Or maybe you are one of those that can fold it without laying it on something. I, however, am not that person! (hehe)
Step 2:

Your second step is to simply fold the arms in.
Step 3:

Thirdly, you need to fold the arms in again. Be sure to fold in evenly with the bottom corner of the hood. (Repeat this step with the other sleeve.)
Step 4:

Starting at the bottom we are going to fold up, towards the hood. Depending on the size of the hoodie will determine how many times you will fold. (I won’t disclose my husbands size, but it took 3 folds up.)
Step 5:

For your fifth step simply turn the hood inside out.
Step 6:

And lastly, slide the hood over the folded part! Be sure to tuck in the point of the hood, to give it a smooth look. Then flip the hoodie over and tuck in the strings.
And there it is! A simple and efficient tip on how to fold a hoodie without covering the logo! Hope you found this tidbit helpful!
